Story

Hi

I'm running the Edinburgh marathon on the 25th of May.

Whilst doing this I'm hoping to raise money for The Cambodia Trust - a large part of their work is providing prosthetic limbs to local people disabled by land mines or disease. Much of their work is based round providing training centres to teach Cambodians to fit prosthetic limbs and provide support to wearers, which makes the task more sustainable. To make and fit a prosthetic limb costs the same as Cambodia's average annual salary - a limb will last an adult 2 years, a growing child 6 months, so outside funding is vital.

Having been to Cambodia and see the number of amputees begging on the streets I know how vital this work is.

Many thanks for your support

Mark
