Hi guys,

As some of you already know, I am running the EDF Birmingham Half Marathon on 11th October 2009.

I figured this would be a great way to get back into some sort of shape whilst also being a fantastic opportunity to raise money for County Air Ambulance.

County Air Ambulance, more specifically the Staffordshire Air Ambulance operation was responsible for flying my grandad to hospital when he was involved in a fatal car accident last year.

The service relies solely on charity donations to keep afloat and for these reasons I have chosen to run for them in my first (of many!!!) half marathon.

I would greatly appreciate your support through donating and/or coming along on the day to watch me put myself through it!
