It manages nature reserves for the good of wildlife, influences people who affect our wildlife, stands up for wildlife against development threats and seeks to inspire people to care about Dorset’s wildlife and to get involved in nature conservation.

My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On the 20th September I am doing a 24 mile walk across the Purbecks in support of The Dorset Wildlife Trust.

All proceeds from the day will contribute directly to supporting DWT's conservation and education work at the Purbeck Marine Wildlife Reserve. The reserve is the longest established Voluntary Marine Reserve (VMNR) in the UK. VMNR status does not offer any extra legal protection to the wildlife of the area so DWT relies on supporters, visitors, partners, wise users and events like the Walk for Wildlife to help safeguard the site's wildlife and habitats for future generations.

All donations are gratefully received no matter how large or small.
