Hi everyone!

16/4/10 - Hey!  It is both unexpected and wonderful to see that we have now  raised over £300!  Preparations for the fund-raiser are steaming ahead, and I look forward to seeing many of you there..

2/04/10 - Some of you may have read the article about me in today's paper.  PLEASE MAY I CLARIFY THAT I DO NOT HAVE CYSTIC FIBROSIS AS WAS WRITTEN - I HAVE CEREBRAL PALSY

1/04/10 - Heartfelt thanks to everyone who has donated.  I am grateful for all of the support you have all shown, and look forward to reaching that total!

15/03/10 - We are heading towards that total now!  My main fund-raising event is scheduled for 24th April, and we're all looking forward to a night of jazz and socialising...

10/03/2010 - Thanks to Jason for pushing the total over the £50 mark!  Let's make £75 the next target....

Those of you who know me will know that despite my disability, I am always up for a new challenge - this July, I will be trekking the length of Borneo with the Journey of a Lifetime Trust in a 4 week expedition! 

"Since 1983, the Journey of a Lifetime Trust (JoLt) has been making a positive, lasting difference to the lives of hundreds of disabled, ill, abused and neglected young people."


I had to get through a stringent application process to gain a place, and I am tremendously excited about the challenges ahead!  The first of these is the challenge of fund raising.  I have to raise at least £600 by May.  This is just a small contribution towards the charity which gives a life-changing experience to many people!

This page is just one of my plans for raising the money, and I shall be holding numerous cake sales and events between now and May.   Look out for things going on if you live in the village....
