Story

UPDATE:  We did it! And we didn't finish last. Just. Anyway, Callum ran probably half the 7km's, not bad for someone 3-weeks out of plaster after 8 weeks on his backside. Thanks to everyone who has donated. You can still donate via this page or by emailing me martinandrewmorris@yahoo.co.uk. Cheers....

**** Thanks to Alex (£10), Hamza Dost (£20), Tim Hallam (£10), Maria Thornton (£5) and Denny (£5) for their off-line donations!! And Alison Parr (£5), Colin (£20), Helen (£5), Nana (£5), Sian (£10)****

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you are aware, my son Callum suffered a serious break in his left leg two months ago. He spent a week in Alder Hey Children's Hospital in Liverpool and has been laid up on our settee ever since barking orders at us.

He should have started school for the first time on Monday. All being well, he will be out of plaster from the 3rd week in September and start school by the end of the month.

As part of his rehabilitation we will be taking part in the FC United Minithon together on October 18th and would be grateful if you could support us by pledging some sponsorship money to help our chosen charity, Medequip4 kids. The Minithon is a 5.6km sponsored run / walk / crawl around Chorlton Meadows in Manchester. This is will be hard going for Callum having had such a break. I have no idea what my excuse is!

You can find out more about Medequip4kids here; http://www.medequip4kids.org.uk/about.asp

Thanks for your support.
