Did you know that every day in the UK, ten families are told that their child has cancer?  In June 2006, we were one of those families when our son was diagnosed with aggressive non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma......

Mercifully, he is now in remission and is a strapping 18 year old!  We couldn’t have coped, however, without the help of CLIC Sargent who supported the whole family through nursing and counselling and providing accommodation during hospital visits to Bristol where Joe underwent his chemotherapy treatment…..
