My story
Anyway, I've done all the training, with my last five long runs totalling just under 100 miles. Sunday 26th April sees me take on my London fourth marathon, assuming I don't accidentally go out for birthday drinks on Saturday.
You should be able to track me as I run. See here for more details.
This year I'm supporting Addison's Disease Self Help Group as one of my close family has Addison's. Addison's Disease is a rare condition brought on by failure of the adrenal glands, and keeping the disease under control requires life-long steroid replacement treatment. There are about 8000 cases in the UK.
Addisons Disease Self Help Group is a small group of people working voluntarily to provide help and support to people affected. They raise awareness of the condition, keep members abreast of medical advances and support a limited number of medical projects.
Now the technical bit: Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Addison's Disease Self-Help Group gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

The Addison’s Disease Self-Help Group is the support group for people with Addison's and their families in the UK and Ireland. It aims to support its members and to promote better medical understanding of this rare condition, working in co-operation with leading adrenal specialists
