My story

 

              Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

We've done it...Pajamas and all - On the 17th May 2008 at 12am exactly we set off for a 13 mile stroll..after 3hours and 47 minutes, blood sweat and tears - we finished the walk.. my legs are killing me but what else should I have expected for a 49 year old woman (I know I lost year - or so in the walking and training -ahem) 

So a huge thank you to ALL the people that have sponsored me, I have been overwhelmed by your generosity and messages.  A big thanks to every one on TLW - the majority of people I have never met and also to all the AON people who also helped me reach my target - a pajama picture will follow.

On the 17th May 2008 myself and a few of my friends are doing a 13 mile (Yes I said 13miles) walk through Kirkstall.


The walk starts at midnight - if you get me to my target I'll even do it in my pajamas - from the Fitness First Gym on Kirkstall Road in Leeds and goes up every darn hill in the area!! 


My Daughter-in-law is also doing the walk, I'm not likely to finish before her (I am 50 you know - ahem) but I'd like to kick her butt at fund raising!! 

 
So heres how you help me.. dig deep and sponsor me as much or as little as you can afford. Every penny will go to St. Gemmas in Leeds where the money will be very gratefully received.
