Hello!

A huge thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I have decided to take on the challenge of raising a minimum of £3000 for International Childcare Trust (ICT) by cycling nearly 500km across Sri Lanka in 5 days.

The cycle will be a tough journey that will take us from the scorching, muggy plains north of Colombo, up some unreasonably steep hills into the cooler climate of the central highlands around Nuwara Eliya and Kandy, before descending to the famous ancient port of Trincomalee. Hopefully the magnificent views and chance to interact with the locals en route will ease the pain!

By donating to this event you will be supporting the efforts of ICT in Cambodia, India, Kenya and Sri Lanka. ICT is a charity skilled in working with local partner organisations to provide education, health and relevant sustainable skills for children who have suffered bereavement or have slipped through other nets. As a small charity ICT is able to direct its assistance efficiently and specifically to where it is needed.

This site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me; International Childcare Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
