09th - 16th September Trekking Mount Toubkal

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have decided to take on a challenge this year not for myself but for important charity called Brain Tumour Action.

The challenge involves 6 days of trekking of the Mount Toubkal in Morocco. We first start off by doing some trekking from Marrakech to the Atlas and then it is all up from there on in. We trek up the steep, narrow, zig-zagging route to the summit of North Africa’s highest peak – Mt. Toubkal (4167m). The views from the top are spectacular, often stretching from the Atlantic Ocean to the Sahara Desert!

 

I would be grateful if you could please sponsor me for this as there are many people in this country who are either born with a brain tumour or develop a brain tumour sometime in their lifes. A lot more research and investigations needs to be taking place so that these people suffering don't have to suffer as much as they are now.
