My story

Hi everyone!

This is more than your average fundraising page.

This is a definitive list of the kindest, most generous people in the double glazing industry.

It's a 'Who's who' of the nicest people involved in the glass and glazing market, and the place to be seen for those who consider themselves to be kind and generous.

If you're not on the list, but feel you really should be considered by your piers to be one of the kindest, most generous people around, then all you need to do is sponsor me to cycle 190 miles through the Indian countryside.  Even if you're not really all that nice, you can pretend you are by making as large a donation as you can.  The higher the donation the nicer you will look when people view this page, and I can assure you that all the movers and shakers are watching this page!

You see I'm organising and taking part in Cycle India for Heal - a small UK charity looking after orphaned and underprivileged children in Andhra Pradesh in India.  Check out the Heal website at www.heal.co.uk.

The money raised on this page goes to helping take as many children out of poverty as possible.  Heal is working hard to take children out of child labour and helping them get a good education so they can escape the cycle of poverty.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Health & Education for All (Heal) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Good Luck and I hope it is all worthwhile. Donation by Colin Torley - VEKA plc 19/05/09
