Hey thanks for visiting my fundraising page for the Flora London Marathon 2009. I've decided to use my ballot place to run for the International Medical Corps (UK).
The IMC works in some of the poorest and war-torn countries in the world and works to provide aid and relief but also to educate and provide sustainability so that the population can once more look after themselves.
I choose the IMC because I greatly respect the work that they do and how they do it and believe it need more recognition and support, so I am proud to be running for them in April.
If you would like to know more about the work of the IMC then please follow this link:
http://www.imcworldwide.org.uk
But if you are short on time then their mission statement is at the bottom of this message...
Anyways, I'm going to be running 26.2 miles or 42.195 km on April 26th and to give me some support and incentive, please support me!
Any donations would be great, and of course the more people who can cheer me on on the day the better! Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: International Medical Corps (UK) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
Thank you for you reading and for your support and hope to see you on the 26th.
Cheers
Matt
