Hello and thank you for visiting my fundraising page!
I am running this year’s London Marathon in aid of The Bridge Academy, Hackney. This a fantastic cause - please read all about it on the left of the screen.
This marathon will be a very special achievement for me...
...in October 2008 I had an operation on the posterior cruciate ligament in my left knee. The operation involved the insertion of an artificial ligament and a few screws were put through my bones. You can watch the operation here:

I started walking in late November and managed to cycle and run short distances during December. I have a good history of running and not having run since July, I am looking forward to this challenge. I am determined to run a good time and have already started training hard.
Please sponsor me now by clicking the link above. Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Bridge Academy, Hackney gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.Or if you would prefer to pledge a donation, please email me at matthew.quaife@ubs.com . If you do make contact, I will keep you informed of my training.
And don't forget if you are a UBS employee to complete your Matched Giving form. UBS will match, pound for pound, your donation to The Bridge Academy. Everyone's a winner!
Many thanks,
Matthew
