My name is Matthew Rhodes and I was a Army Physical Training Instructor with the 1st Battalion the Devonshire and Dorset Regiment.
I served in Germany, Canada and the summer of 95 tour in Bosnia until I had a severe motorbike accident.
My accident left me paralysed down the right hand side of my body, and I am now registered as completely blind. Since my accident I have never let my disability stop me from doing anything and, over the last couple of years, have completed various sponsored events to raise money for charity. I want to help give back to the charities that have helped support me.
I am supporting both The Guide Dogs for the Blind Association and St Dunstan's. Please give generously.
