My story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am taking part in this years Huddersfield Town 'Keep It Up' Campaign - Pedal for Pounds Three bike ride from Huish Park, home of Yeovil Town to The Galpham Stadium, home to Huddersfield Town to arrive for the last game of the season at 3pm on Saturday 5th May 2012.
It is a 250 mile bike ride over 4 days and I am hoping to raise over £1000 for the 'Keep It Up' campaign, half the money raised goes to The Yorkshire Air Ambulance & half goes to The Huddersfiield Town Academy.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance needs £7,200 per day to keep it's two helicopters in the air and saving lives. This is a very worth while cause as you never know you or a close family member may need their help one day.
Town's Academy takes in players from the age of 8 years and not only teaches them to play football, but also gives them a valuble wider education as well.

You will be glad to know the ride was sucessful, although it rained a lot and we had to pedal against a cold northerly wind all the way, we arrived at the Galpharm Stadium on time for a lap of honour around the pitch. I enjoyed this event and would do it again next year.
Thank you very much to everyone who has contributed to my fundraising effort.
£800 raised so far and with less than a week to go I'm having a push to make thwe £1000. A lot of my £800 has come from offline donations which is good, but there's still time to click on the link and support me on this venture.
