One in seven of the UK population has a hearing disability. Deaf babies face a lifetime struggling to communicate; the elderly can become isolated from friends and family. Deafness Research UK works towards advances in scientific and medical research, to ensure that one day all forms of hearing disability will be overcome.

My story

Let me introduce myself, my name is Max.

I'm going to run the Marathon and here are the facts.

I'll race you into London, I am in a running mode,

its all for Deaf research who are on the Grays Inn Road.

Cochlea implants can make unheard voices clear,

important research and technology allow the deaf to hear.

An implant helped my mum to to enjoy her life once more

It opened up a world she was shut out of before.

Help me support Deaf Research become their biggest fan

I want to give them lots of cash so donate all you can.
