2013 story.....
I've completed the 5K race that takes place in Manhatten NYC the day before the NY Marathon. I ran through the streets of Manhattan with > 5 thousand people, starting at the UN building and finishing at the Marathon finish line in Central Park.
I came 3rd for the Male 13 age group, 5th out of 168 runners in the 12-14 age group and 144th overall (out of 8178 runners) - my time was 19mins 40secs!(we started 2 secs after the elite men) and made it to the 12-14 roll of honour. http://web2.nyrrc.org/cgi-bin/htmlos.cgi/1213.1.438292059665822264. It was a fab atmosphere xxx will be going back next year!
The race took place on 'Marathon Saturday', November 2 and I am still raising as much money as possible for Teenage Cancer Trust, so please sponsor me if you haven't already!
