This year I am again running for CARE International. On February 2nd and 3rd I plan on participating in the 2008 double length race: the so-called T2T2T. This is the Town (London) to Tring (not anywhere near London) and back to Town (London). This is an 80 Mile (128Km) footrace out and back along the tow path of the Grand Union Canal. For me it is then on to the Paris Marathon April 6th, the London Marathon April 13th and (assuming I can get the schedule organized to be there in Colorado) the Streamboat Marathon that starts at 8000ft on June 1st! I really appreciate you visiting my fundraising page and hope you will be willing to make a donation to help spur me along especially on the second part of the journey when the legs will doubtless be pretty wobbly assuming they are functioning at all! I first came across CARE International in Africa ( http://www.careinternational.org.uk ) when i was working Angola in the late '90s and was really impressed with what they do. I have run for CARE International several times and they are a great charity doing terrific work. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. All currencies are gratefully received and it is merely a quirk of the website that it is set up in £ Sterling. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: CARE International will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. All company matching gifts gratefully accepted also! Note only your donations show up below not the tax benefit or any company matches.
Many thanks for your support - it is really much appreciated! Regards Howard
