I am going to run the London Marathon on April 26th 2009 and have decided to start asking for donations early so that i can raise as much as possible.

I am running for Lupus UK as i believe it is such a worthwhile cause. Someone in my family suffers from this condition and there is currently no cure for the disease. But with your kind donations, it will go some way to providing the money needed to research and find a cure.

I'm starting my training in May, which is slightly early but if i prepare well, it will mean that i should finish the course in a decent time! My mum and dad have done the London Marathon so i guess it's also a personal goal of mine to accomplish what they did.
