I think most people have had their lives touched by cancer in some form, personally it was with the loss of my mum  8 years ago. I've always wanted to do something to help organisations that support cancer sufferers and with a lot of rides planned for this year what better than to finish the summer with a fund raiser!!

The Macmillan Afan Monster will possibly be the best and hardest 75km and 100km mountain bike challenge of 2010. This 'enduro' uses the knowledge of experienced local riders to bring together many of the hidden gems of Afan Forest Park into one awesome ride. I am aiming for the 100km which is no mean feat off-road!!!

The ride uses mostly little known natural trails throughout the Afan Valley, plus the best of the existing trails including The Wall, Penhydd and Skyline single tracks. 

So please dig deep and donate now Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. It provides practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
