I am raising money for the Lucy, Pragit, Russ Bursary Fund, which was started in 2007 in memory of three Meadow School parents who died in 2006-2007. The aim of the fund is to provide help with school fees for families facing a crisis or tragedy so that their children can remain at the school, and do not have to face the upheaval of moving school at a difficult time
The Meadow Steiner School is an independent school, registered as a charity, committed to inclusive education. The school is co-educational and open to children of all backgrounds and abilities. Its fees are kept as low as possible in line with the aim to be financially inclusive, and the school's income is supplemented by active and successful fundraising.
The ability to educate the children who attend the Meadow School relies on the loving dedication, commitment and financial support of the parents and teachers. However, this alone is not enough to ensure that they can continue to provide the many benefits of Steiner education to as many children as possible. They also rely on the generosity of their donors to support the work.
