My story
Thanks for visiting our JustGiving page.
Oh yes - we're climbing Africa's highest mountain (all 19,000+ feet of it) for the wonderful Richard House Children's Hospice near where we work in Newham. It couldn't be a more worthwhile cause as they make life more enjoyable for hundreds of children with life-limited conditions.
And we couldn't be more nervous - Georgia about the prospect of altitude sickness and Meg about the distinct lack of any proper toilet facilites. But we'll put up with our minor discomforts and do our utmost to climb to the summit.
Georgia: "I'll even get that fundraising tutu out again if you double your donation..."

Richard House, London's first children's hospice, provides care and support to children who are not expected to live into adulthood, as well as to their families. Its team of nurses and care staff make the time children spend at the house fun, active and therapeutic.
