WE ALL SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED THE 10KM WALK IN APPROXIMATELY  2 HOURS ON SUNDAY.

I was diagnosed with mouth cancer in December 2005. Before diagnosis I had never heard of mouth cancer.     Shocking facts, Every year a higher number of people are diagnosed with mouth cancer than cervical or testicular cancer, Mouth cancers have a higher proportion of  deaths than breast cancer, cervical cancer or skin melanoma. The mortality rate of mouth cancer is just over 50% because of late detection.  

 ONE YEAR after my diagnosis I have completed the 10km walk to raise awareness of this type of cancer that is not so well known.

Mouth cancer if caught early can be successfully treated. So donate as much as you can afford to help Mouth Cancer Foundation raise awareness.
