, 3 laps of MV Arcadia promenade deck on 13th October 2008.
Captain Ian Walters came down from the bridge to start the walk and I had lots of new friends wheeling and walking and encouraging, cheering me on all the way.

I raised a further 490 pounds on the ship and donations are still coming in. More importantly, many more poeple know about Ataxia because of me and the leaflets we distributed thoughout the ship.
I want to send a Great BIG Thank You to everyone who has supported me (I'd like to mention you all by name but there are far too many, you are all very special to me) and if you would still like donate, this sponsor form is still open, Ataxia UK and myself will be very grateful for your support.
THANK YOU
I was diagnosed with Spina Cerrabella Ataxia about 15 years ago. Anyone who knows me or has ever visited my Ebay sellers page (melsweetpea) - where I sell to fundraise for Ataxia UK - will know how passionate I am about raising funds and awareness for this debilitating condition.
Ataxia UK are holding a sponsored "Wheely, Wobbly, Walk" at Battersea Park, London on 28th September 2008 for International Ataxia Awareness Day. I cannot take part because I am on holiday. So I have decided to hold my own "Wheely, Wobbly, Walk" on board MV Arcadia. I will "Wobbly walk" around the promenade deck of the ship TWICE, which I have been assured by P&O is equal to one mile. Which will be quiet an achievment - for me!
PLEASE SPONSOR ME! It is so simple to do through this page and you will feel great for doing it!

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Ataxia UK gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!
Added 20/08/08 - I've just had an email from somebody actually on MV Arcadia at the moment
- "The plaque definately says THREE times around the Promenade is equal to a mile" - P&O gave me the wrong information
, I have to train even harder!
Anyway, the challenge is NOT about the distance covered - but - raising funds and awarerness of Ataxia UK.
THANK YOU to everyone who has already sponsored me so far -
Please tell your friends!
