Hello and thanks for visiting my fundraising page!
I'm doing this ride because I've been really inspired by the guys at Charity Adventure and their tireless work to raise money for a variety of charities in their spare time, so I'm joining their Amsterslam 09 ride from York to Amsterdam and back to raise money for Jessie's Fund. Have a look at the Jessie's Fund website and you will see what great work they are doing and why I want to raise funds for them - hopefully all of us in the Amsterslam team can help them to bring music and Jessie's Fund magic into more sick and disabled children's lives.
To do this, though, we need to raise lots of money! So please sponsor me if you can and also pass on my page link to anyone else who might.
I know it's going to be an amazing experience, but it's also going to be a challenge for me and I'll keep you up to date on this page about how my training is going so keep coming back. If you don't have the funds to donate now you can click the reminder button so you don't forget.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Jessie's Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now!

02/06/2009 - Although I've been training since January, I've really upped the distances recently and it's certainly getting harder, especially as there are more hills. However, I've now paid for the trip so there's no going back and I'm actually really looking forward to it. Thanks to everyone who's sponsored me so far, I really appreciate it! Please don't forget to pass the message on.
08/07/2009 - I wasn't able to update the page before due to the problems with the site but it seems to be okay now thankfully - sorry if anyone's had problems. Well, I made it up Cheddar Gorge and back and didn't find it that hard so I was feeling cocky, but I haven't done much since then and my ride to Bath and back last night was tough going! Getting a little nervous now but also looking forward to it immensely. Thanks to everyone who's sponsored me so far - you are all stars x
16/07/2009 - Wow, can't believe it's all over! So lucky with the weather, lots of sunshine and windmills and lovely people. Also lots of chafing and achey bits and a wasp sting but it was still absolutely brilliant!
