Hello family, friends, colleagues and all you kind souls who have opened my fundraising page. I am running in the eighth annual ASICS British 10K London Run which takes place in the heart of historic central London on 6th July. This will be a personal challenge for me to get fit and to lose some weight. However more importantly, I am running on behalf of the Burmese people who have suffered from Cyclone Nargis that left hundreds of thousands of people homeless in its wake. No doubt you have all seen the TV reports and know of the situation there, so please help me to help them. Your money will help Muslim Global Relief (MGR) in its efforts in Burma. MGR is an international NGO and has its partners on the ground doing vital relief work. We urgently ask you to dig deep and help to provide much needed aid – mainly basic items such as water purification tablets, food, clean drinking water and sheets for shelter. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: MGR will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now and a Big thanks for your support. Lay off the pic - I was on a mission - cycled 13 miles in Pendle's famous 2008 heatwave!
