My aunt - Gloria - lives at the Marie Foster Centre in Barnet. It is a centre catering for people who have Multiple Sclerosis and other neurological diseases on a residential, respite and day care basis. The staff there are excellent and really take good care of her so all my family try to help as much as possible.

The Centre needs special beds with air matresses (to minimise the risk of pressure sores) and the facility to raise or lower either end of the bed. Each bed costs £5000. I would like to raise enough money for one bed at least. I know that when Goria sees me complete the marathon, she will be really proud of me.
