Hello all my dear friends and family and even strangers!! :)

On January 13th 2007, I ran the 5k event here in Edinburgh. Great Winter Run - in a time of 33:34. It was around the famous Arthur's Seat, a hilly run, with spectacular views over the city. This was the first time I had ran outside, as I am normally a gym runner! But.....this for me is a major achievement and something I never ever thought I would be able to do, and my husband has a lot to do with that also, (not the running I may add!!)
For me, this signifys my recovery from mental health problems and one of the charities in the consortium of Bighearted Scotland is a scottish mental health charity that I have used personally. The others are equally important, which is why I want the donations to be spread out to other charities in Scotland. Bobby our budgie is particularly keen on the SSPCA!
This is the start!!!!
I have just run the Great Edinburgh Run 10k which was on the 6th May, this is quite a tough course, and the wind was billowing! Came in a respectable 1 Hr 8 mins.
3rd June - Race For Life 5k (Holyrood)
7th Oct - Race For Life 10k
