My story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year is the time I will do something, that’s what I've been saying for a few years now, some half attempts to get myself registered for the Great North Run have came to nothing, when I couldn’t get a place and then the idea drifted away with time being spent on other things.

With events earlier in the year and the tragic death of local footballer, Anthony Lowther from Leukaemia in January and my friend, Neil Douglass being diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia, I knew I had to do something to help.  Neil has been lucky but others aren’t.  Neil will be running this year and has enlisted others to help.

I hope to raise money to for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to help research into a cure while supporting those effected in a time of need.

So please dig deep and donate now.
