In May 2008 I will be hiking across the Peruvian Andés for 10 days through the Machu Picchu to help raise money for MacMillan Cancer Support.

I originally applied to take part in this challenge during difficult times when my Mum was ill fighting against cancer. During this time myself, my family and my Mum received fantastic support from the MacMillan nurses and I wanted to raise money for such a good charity.

Since then, my Mum passed away and I now wish to complete this challenge in memory of her.
