Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page.

We're running the Great North Run for the first time this year in memory of Anne - Samantha's beloved Mum, cherished wife of Bryan and an unforgettable Gran to our children, Ellie and Luke. Anne passed away, after a short but heartbreaking fight against cancer, at St Oswald's Hospice in Gosforth, Newcastle on Friday 17 October last year...

...so we're running to raise money to support the remarkable place that is St Oswald's; a special place that deals so well with so many people fighing serious illness in the North East and gives strength and support to all those who are touched by their suffering.

With over 13 miles of Tyneside tarmac to conquer we need all the encouragement and inspiration you can muster to get us in shape (help !) and across the finish line as neither of us have attempted anything like this before or in such poignant circumstances. This year's run is on Sunday 20th September.

So for us, for Anne and for all the people for whom St Oswald's means (or will mean) so much - we'd ask you to consider sponsoring us, leaving a message, and helping us towards our fundraising target.

Thank-You!
