My brother in-law Alan Hardman was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1984 aged 34 years. A keen Sportsman, this was a crushing blow. Over the years his condition has deteriorated and he is now totally disabled.
Alan goes to BASIC ( an independant charity based at Hope Hospital in Salford)as often as he can and the facilities and support are of great use to him and others in a similar sittuation. BASIC provides specialist gym facilities and rehabilitation and has been invaluable in maintaining his focus and well being. All money raised will contribute directly to the continuation of the centre's activities.
Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: BASIC (Brain and Spinal Injury Centre) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
So please sponsor me now! I appreciate times are hard, but anything you can contribute would be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Mike Scholes
