This September I am cycling, with a friend Andrew Chapman, from England’s mostly westerly point (Land’s End in Cornwall) to England’s mostly easterly point (Ness Point in Lowestoft). I am aiming to do this in seven days, it is a distance of around 450 miles.
The reason I’m collecting sponsorship for this journey is to fund raise for The Halesworth Community Nursing Care Fund. This charity was set up in 1989 to provide extra nursing support and holistic care for the terminally ill and their families whilst being nursed in the community. Last year this fund helped my family give palliative care to my father and we learnt what a fantastic difference they can make. You may not have heard of this small trust but it has a big impact on the lives of the people it touches. So please give generously to help this amazing group of nurses.
Thank-you in advance for your time and generosity.
