The inspiration for this trek is that Michelle's mother has fought Breast Cancer and is currently recovering well. Breast Cancer is a disease that affects so many women in this day and age. If it was not from the hard work that Breast Cancer Campaign does to research new treatments and preventions many women would not be able to live to tell their tales of survival. We can make a difference to the lives of so many people affected by the disease and together we can beat cancer.
Having paid the full cost of the flights and trek ourselves, we aim to raise £5,750 for this important cause,
Our Trek to Mt Everest’s Base Camp Takes place
7-23 November 2008.
We will trek through Sagarmatha National Park to Everest Base Camp - situated at 18,192 feet (5545m), That's a long way up!
We can't get there without your support so please help us reach our fundraising goal to find the cure for breast cancer!
