TO RELIEVE POVERTY, SICKNESS AND DISTRESS AND ADVANCE EDUCATION AMONGST CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN ORPHANED OR WHO ARE IN DANGER OF BEING ORPHANED OR ARE DIRECTLY AFFECTED AS A RESULT OF HIV/AIDS, ABANDONMENT OR ABUSIVE HOME ENVIRONMENTS IN SOUTH AFRICA. SOME OF THE CHLDERN ARE INFECTED BY HIV/AIDS, BUT MOST OF THEM ARE ORPHANED AS A RESULT OF THEIR PARENTS DYING FROM AIDS.

Hello all,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page, it's the first time I've set one of these up....and certainly the first time I've entertained a 10K run.  I must be mad!

Thusanani is a charity we support at work....it does some amazing work with HIV infected babies in South Africa.  Thusanani, is a small charity which works at grassroots level in South Africa.  Our aim is to help babies and young childen who have been orphaned through HIV/AIDS, abandonment or abusive home environments.

If you'd like to support this cause please feel free to sponsor me......I'll let you know how I get on and if Paula Radcliffe need quake in her boots!
