I know you're probably wondering how on earth I'm going to run 10k - I'm wondering the same!!  Well, I keep telling myself that there isn't any point doing something if it's not a challenge!!

I'm running for the charity "When You Wish Upon A Star".  You may recall I have supported this charity previously when I did the "Pepsi Max Big One" (five times on the rollercoaster non-stop) many years ago.

For those of you who haven't heard of "When You Wish Upon A Star" it is a small charity whose aim is to grant the wishes of children with a life threatening or terminal illness.  The wishes range from swimming with dolphins in Florida to watching a baby lamb being born!  All the children are extremely ill and the knowledge their wish will be granted can really give them a much needed boost and often is an incentive to help get them and their families through some extremely tough times.
