Thanks so much for visiting our fundraising page. Here's a little bit more information about who we are and what we're trying to achieve:
1. We're a team of Microsoft advertising staff who manage search and display marketing campaigns on Microsoft adCentre on behalf of our advertisers in the UK. We've recently decided to put some of our time and energy into making a difference to a charity. Your contribution, no matter how small, will really help us to do this - thank you from all of us.
2. The charity we've chosen to work with is the Sunrise Children's Centre (part of Barnado's) in Kent. This centre supports over 200 families whose children have learning or physical disabilities. It has bedrooms where children can stay to give their families a break and a day centre. This fantastic centre is currently in need of some renovation to ensure these families have the best facilities and support.
3. Our plan is to fundraise £10,000 which we'll put towards renovating certain areas of the centre. The team are going to spend 2 days there in October where they'll put the fundraising money to great use by creating a games room, revamping the outdoor areas with a pergola, a sensory garden and a new drop-off area plus much more.
