Story

The Middlesbrough MND Care Centre is one of 19 MND Association care centres and networks specifically set up to provide support and care for all patients, families and carers affected by Motor Neurone Disease.

MND is a rare neurological condition that  progressively damages the motor nerves in the brain and spinal cord causing the associated muscles to waste away. Most commonly it affects the muscles in the hands, feet, mouth and throat and can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe.

Our charity trust fund (MND multidisciplinary H114) allows patients in the local area to receive improved care, support and access to equipment which otherwise would not be available to them.

You can also donate using text by texting MNDM70 £5 to 70070
