About my charity : Breast Cancer Haven Breast Cancer Haven
Being diagnosed with breast cancer and undergoing treatment affects a patient both physically and emotionally. Breast Cancer Haven offers a free programme of care to help patients and those supporting them during this difficult time. Havens are welcoming day centres staffed by a specialist team who provide support, information and complementary therapies before, during and after medical treatment. There are currently Havens in London and Hereford and we are busy raising funds to open our third Haven in Leeds by the end of 2008. With over 44,000 cases of breast cancer diagnosed in the UK every year, more Havens are needed and we aim to create a network of Havens across the country so that one day everyone will be within reach of a Haven. It costs approximately £1,000 per person cared for at a Haven and in the absence of any government funding, the charity is dependent on charitable donations and fundraising events to continue delivering this vital service and to build new Havens

Hello!  Thanks for coming through to my Breast Cancer Haven donation page.  Please donate as much as you can and help the Haven help as many people as possible.  The photgraph is of Me and Helen from the Christmas party a couple of years ago!  She was in such a silly mood that night,and I think this picture says it all!!
