Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Friends of Beaver Road (Beaver Road School Parent Teacher Association) gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

22 intrepid walkers will attempt the classic Three Peaks of Yorkshire, taking in the summits of Pen Y Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, in aid of Beaver Road School in Didsbury, which incidentally is the lowest funded school (per pupil) in Manchester. We will start  in Horton in Ribblesdale and go round these three peaks in an anti clockwise direction. Sounds easy but I'm now packing two and a half extra stone, my arches are dropping and I've recently found out that my right leg is shorter than my left! So please please please sponsor me now!!!!!!!!!

Many thanks to everyone who has sponsored me so far, you are all stars! x

We all finished the walk in under 12 hours! I've got no blisters but my legs are killing me - it's taken this long to hobble from the couch to the PC so I could update my fundraising page! =0)
