Mission Dawah is all about creating a mass-movement in dawah by making it a key part of every Muslim’s life. This is done at a number of levels.
Mission Dawah has been running its one day interactive dawah training course called ‘Call of Duty.’ No previous experience in dawah is needed; in fact many of our participants are like this. The course aims to give people confidence in giving dawah with a tried and tested formula. We have held over 50 of these courses with over 4000 people attending. Currently, the courses are held every week and admission is FREE.
The course has been hugely successful, with many people possessing no previous experience in dawah going out and inviting people to Islam - many with great success! One attendee, Sadiq Shah, after having attended the course went out and gave dawah, and through the Grace of Allah (swt) someone took shahada. The same thing happened the week after, and the following week, and the next etc. To date, 30 people have been guided to Islam. This is one of many, many stories we are hearing.
Mission Dawah has also held international missions. Recently, iERA was in Malawi where we delivered a training session for 30 leaders of the largest Dawah organisation in that country, called the Islamic Information Bureau.
We are also currently developing level two training for the most talented dawah carriers; this will be held later in the year. The team also went to Jamaica, where there were 4 shahadas, and also in Norway, Germany and other countries. Further information is available here.
Through Mission Dawah, thousands of people’s lives have been touched, empowering them to give dawah, with hundreds of shahadas taking place.
To continue with current activity we need a further £50,000.
We can achieve this if we can get 200 special people to donate £500 each, or 400 people to donate £250. Of course, you can take the lions share if the reward by giving more.
