UPDATE: I am now no longer running the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London - due to my sudden departure to sunny San Francisco (hehe!), I'll now instead be running the US Half Marathon on 2nd November 2008. However, I am still running for Right to Play UK so dig deep and sponsor me!

I've set myself a goal.

On Sunday 12th October 2008 Sunday 3rd November 2008, I will be running my very first half-marathon. I will be doing so on behalf of a completely awesome charity which I only recently discovered, called Right to Play.

Over 700 million children don't know what it is to play. Right to Play is helping to change that.

Right To Play uses the power of 'play' to improve health, build life skills, and foster peace for children and communities affected by war, poverty and disease. Using their specially designed sports and play programmes, and working in both the humanitarian and development contexts, Right To Play has projects in more than 20 countries in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
