Hey everyone, thanks for checking out our page! Basically myself (Robert Walsh) and my Dad (Patrick Walsh) are taking part in the 2008 Mongolia Rally which consists of us trying to drive from London to the Mongolian capital of Ulan Bator. We'll be going through Poland, Russia, Kazakhstan, trying to deal with breakdowns, challenging conditions and much much more!
The whole point of the rally is to raise money for Mongolian charities such as CAMDA, which is our charity of choice, with each team having to raise at least £1000. Also when we arrive in Mongolia our cars will be donated to a childrens charity (Childrens Development Protection Foundation) who aution them off to raise money. So please help us reach our target so we can attempt this crazy trip...probably ending up lost in the Gobi desert! Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cambridge Mongolian Disaster Appeal (CAMDA) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Cheers
Rob and Paddy If you would like anymore information you can email me at rjw95@cam.ac.uk
