On July 18th, 2009, two Canterbury school teachers with no mechanical knowledge, sense of direction or common sense will set off from Goodwood heading east. Destination - Mongolia. A 10,000 mile journey, crossing 16 countries, 2 deserts and 3 mountain ranges ... their chosen steed - a black, pink polka-dotted 1.2l Ford KA. One condition: to be back for September and the start of the Autumn Term.
Apart from having fun, we hope to raise thousands of pounds for CYPPD (Children and Young People’s Protection and Development), a non-governmental organisation working in Mongolia to support and protect children who are homeless, at risk of abuse, trafficking and child labour:

The money we raise go towards a new Tsoglog (or ‘Happiness’ in Mongolian) Centre that will become a focal point for support and care for Mongolia's vulnerable and abused children.
Please donate generously.
Many thanks,
Graeme and Mike
