We did it, Welwyn Garden to Dover to Dunkirk to Dijon via champagne, on to Lausanne in Switzerland then over the alpes into turin italy then on to monte carlo and Nice in 4 days and an old banger. lots of hard work but lots of fun too. Please just because our adventure is over don't stop giving!

5 days until we go, the car works ferries booked, fancy dress ready, looking good for D Day

As part of the on going campaign to raise money for Macmillan Cancer support, the Welwyn garden city branch of Country Properties are doing the 4 day long Monte-Carlo or bust Banger rally.

We will be leaving Blighty on Thursday 17th of July and traveling to St Quentin France where we will be stopping over night then early Friday morning we will be driving on to Reims-Gueux before traveling on to our over night stop in Dijon.

Saturday is another early start taking us into Switzerland and over the alps via The Great St Bernard Pass into Italy and on to Turin for our over night stop.

Sunday morning brings the finish line in sight when we leave Italy and head into France and Monte-Carlo where we finish off with a quick lap around the world famous Monaco F1 track before parking up in Casino square.

All of this in a car purchased for £250.

We hope to be able to sell the car or at least get some money for scrap so that we can put this money into the fundraising pot before hoping on a plane back to the good old UK.
