Animals Asia’s fantastic trekking challenge will raise vital funds for the suffering Moon Bears in . Global Adventure Challenges once again offer supporters a great way to raise money for these animals treated in this horrific way.
Sarah and Dave completed the challenge for Animals Asia’s in 2007 (please see website for details). This was what inspired me to join them for this challenge as not only is this an experience of a lifetime, but a chance to make a difference to these wonderful bears who are still being treated in this barbaric way.
This particular event is special, not only will we meet fascinating people from the many ethnic tribes of the hills, learn about their culture and stay in local homes but we will also get to visit the newly opened Sanctuary and meet Jill Robinson MBE on our final day.
The challenge involves trekking for 5-7 hours daily in the Northern Hills of . The limestone landscape of is an area of outstanding natural beauty, cultural interest and great biodiversity-offering a great challenging trek.
We need to raise £3000 each for Animals Asia, but I have a helping hand as BP’s Matching fund will match half of the amount required to fulfil this event and ensure that your money goes directly to the bears.
