The NSPCC's purpose is to end cruelty to children and our vision is of a Society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential. In September 2008, the NSPCC launched its Child’s Voice Appeal to answer more children’s cries for help. Every day, thousands of children and young people need to talk to ChildLine about a problem they face, while hundreds of caring adults call the NSPCC Helpline, worried about a child’s safety.

My story

Well, thank god that's over. It was a tough run but I am home now, feeling pretty exhausted, and happy it's all over. Lowlights: freezing cold and had stitch for 13 miles. Highlights: I overtook Wayne Sleep and thoroughly enjoyed several beers afterwards. But most importantly thanks to all of you for your kind sponsorship. You can rest easy now, I have officially retired! Right, I'm going for a lie-down. Cheers! Lulu x
