Story

We are a team of 6 from Specsavers Tamworth...Lisa Large, Rav Bahia, Barry Large, Shauni Adderley, Richard Evans & Marc Brook. On May 31st we will be getting tough in the Midlands Tough Mudder to help raise funds for the 'Poppy Fields Appeal' for Birmingham Children's Hospital. Poppy & Tilly have been fighting brain tumours for most of their lives & research is needed to help them & the many other children who are diagnosed every day. Please support us!!! Thank you!!!

POPPY FIELDS APPEAL: Poppy Guilder is a 12-year-old girl who has been fighting a brain tumour since she was just 14-months-old, enduring 4 brain surgeries, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Her family have supported BCH in its quest to save the lives of children with brain tumours for 11 years, and have raised over £220,000 so far.

You can read Poppy's story on her website: www.poppyfieldsbch.co.uk

Tilly is the beautiful 5-year-old daughter of a Specsavers Tamworth colleague who has also been bravely fighting a brain tumour since she was a toddler.

Please sponsor us and help us to help children with brain tumours like Tilly & Poppy.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
