The Music in the Round team be attempting the Sheffield Half Marathon on Sunday 20th May and raising money for Music in the Community, all our education and outreach work across South Yorkshire.
Ensemble 360 musicians (Donald, Marie and Naomi), MitR staff and board (Polly, Tracy, Daisy and David) and Highly Strung workshop leaders (Martin and Liz) and violinist (Rosie Nicholson) are hard in training as well as leading numerous fun fundraising activities.

- 11th - 19th May - Numerous fundraising events as part of the May Festival at the Crucible Studio.
- 20th May - Support the runners and hear Highly Strung directed by Peter Cropper performing outside the Famous Sheffield Shop, Ecclesall Road
