In August 2006, following many months of back ache our Dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. He has spent the last three years in and out of hospital for various operations and cancer fighting treatments. Thanks to the excellent care he has received from a number of hospitals, doctors and nurses he is doing very well. However, there is currently no cure for this form of cancer. That is why we support Myeloma UK.
Introducing Bake, Take & Make!
Inspired by the amazing success of our 2008 coffee morning and cake sale at Kate's work which raised a fantastic £390, this year with the support of our friends and family we have gone bigger and better!
This year we have asked our friends and family to:
Bake some cakes (or flapjacks, brownies, whatever you like...
Take them to your place of work (or school, social club, wherever...)
& Make lots of money and raise awareness for Myeloma UK!
We would like to thank everyone who has agreed so far to help us raise money for this worthwhile cause, and look forward to seeing the money start rolling in during Myeloma Awareness Week!
